The staff is very friendly and accommodating. My family have been twice to this location and we were not disappointed. Would not recommend coming here unless you’re okay with paying double the price for half as much food. We will come back to Melting Pot, but definitely not for Valentine’s day or any holiday specials. There was about 2 pieces of each veggie and less meat than we get on regular nights (see photos for references!) The second thing we were most disappointed with was having little tiny crumbs of lobster shell in the meat. We were most disappointed with the portion sizes. Usually you get what you’ve paid for, but not in this case. We usually leave Melting Pot feeling full and satisfied with our meal but last night we left feeling disappointed and honestly ripped off. It was such a turn off to have to separate the meat from the shell in your mouth with each bite, we couldn’t even eat half of it. It was peeled off for you, which was nice, but we could not eat it as there were tiny pieces of lobster shell in the meat in every single bite. There was only two pieces ravioli, and the lobster was HORRIBLE. The food portions were almost half the size! (Keep in mind the price is double!) The only “special” thing I guess was the red ravioli and lobster option. We were fine with paying the higher price as it is Valentine’s day so we thought it would be worth it. The food is almost twice the price on a regular day. Valentine’s day review: If you’re looking to come here for a special holiday such as valentine’s day, I would recommend you go else where. However, 2 star review because of my Valentine’s day review. The food is always great and the people are always friendly. Slightly pricey if you take a tour of the entire menu like we did, but absolutely worth the experience!īeen here with my husband about 3 or 4 times last year. Dessert arrived again at seemingly the precise time it was meant to a vegan 'Buckeye' that mystified our senses with its chocolate-peanut-maple flavors and textures leaving us dazzled.ġ0/10, would dine at Service Bar again. A second round of cocktails followed, with a 'Courtlandia' for me, and my wife selecting 'Rosemary's Daisy'. For main courses we chose the Black Pepper Seitan and Panang Curry, which again arrived at the perfect moment and continued the meal without making us feel rushed. Our cocktails and appetizers came out very fast, and were incredible - the wonton and brassica dishes both featured beautiful plating and intense flavors, complimenting the 'Blood Sugar Magic' and 'Rosé Petal' beverages selected for our first round. Our server, Andy, was excellent and proved invaluable in helping us decide, since there were several vegan options available on the menu. I had a fantastic dinner with my wife tonight at Service Bar, in celebration of our eighth wedding anniversary. - Restaurants at Polaris Fashion Place.Eater - The 12 Best New Restaurants in Columbus, Ohio.Spoon University - 50 Places To Eat In Columbus, Ohio Before You Die.OpenTable - Los mejores restaurantes en general en Columbus.Columbus Underground - The Top 25 Restaurants of 2019.OpenTable - The Best Restaurants in Columbus, According to our Tastemakers.Family Destinations Guide - 30 Best Restaurants in Columbus, OH for 2022 (Top Eats!).Trip101 - 10 Fancy Restaurants In Columbus, Ohio.Columbus Navigator - 7 Restaurants In Columbus For That Multi-Course Fine Dining Experience That You Deserve.Columbus Navigator - 12 Fine Dining Restaurants In Columbus Perfect For An Incredible Night Out.Exploreist - The 20 Best Restaurants in Columbus, Ohio.VacationIdea - 25 Best Restaurants in Columbus, Ohio.Thrillist - The Best Restaurants in Columbus.Culture Trip - The 10 Best Restaurants In German Village, Columbus.Eater - The 28 Essential Columbus Restaurants.
